Privacy notice (summary)

Smart Job is a marketplace that introduces customers and service providers. We process personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Account email and password (hashed)
• Customer name and phone (shared with a hired provider after you accept a quote)
• Provider company name, business phone, optional business email, and profile
• Job descriptions, locations, messages, quotes, and reviews

What we do not do

• We do not process payments for jobs between customers and providers
• We do not guarantee work completion or payment
• We only sell provider subscriptions to access leads

When contact details are shared

Provider business contact is shown to a customer only after they accept a quote. Customer phone is shown to the hired provider at the same time. Until then, use in-app messages.

Your rights

You may export or delete your account from Privacy & data in the sidebar (customers and providers). You can also request access or correction via Help → Contact support.
